Monday Motivation mid-August

Monday is most often the day I choose to be Sabbath; time apart for self care and for re-energizing after a busy Sunday.

Our routine is to begin with coffee and our planners.  Nick and I compare notes about the upcoming week – the to do lists, outside activities and appointments, and over-all planning.  This morning was no different.

Below is a shot of my current Happy Planner.  I now have 2.  This one is for general things.  The other is for ministry appointments and to dos.  When we turn the page to 2020 all will be in the second planner since the first finishes in December; the second in December 2020.

I have a 3rd planner which is where I record my food and other health stats.

This works well for me.  I’ve tweaked the planners over and again since sometime after 2008.  I believe that for planning I don’t need to be motivated as it’s all part of my morning routine/habit.

What motivates you?  What are you motivated to do or to create?

Happy Monday!  May you find the many blessings that are part of your life.
