Something new for me, although I try to use what I have so that I am not wasteful.  I’m instituting “Zero Waste Wednesdays” here at Tweak Your Week.

Why Wednesdays?  Wednesday is the day that we plan to make our dump run.  This is not fun nor glamorous but necessary when you live outside of urbania and without weekly garbage pick up at the house.

We haven’t been for awhile so there is much more to get rid of than I’d like but hey, thems the facts, just the facts.

My plan/idea is to create no waste on Wednesdays. (rather self explanatory)  So, all inedible food will be composted, paper recycled, plastics (eek) recycled…well, I’m sure you get the picture here.
