Spring has sprung!

….Well maybe.. The sun is very bright today and the snow is slowly disappearing and yet the temperature remains low.  The warmth of the sun has yet to be present.  The robins have returned but I imagine them shivering in the cold.

If spring has sprung then too has spring cleaning.  Time to empty out the cobwebs and toss the dust bunnies out the door. Of course my week is always in flux.  I plan, schedule, calendar, table, or whatever you want to call my attempt at control however the need to be flexible is always present.

I use some of the FLY Lady routines to help keep me on track as well as Simpleology to check things off my ever changing lists. (I gain no profit if you click through to see – just love their work)

Here are a couple of must do items on my task list each day:

  1. Morning devotionals – Each day begins with meditation, journalling, and connecting with the Divine Spirit.
  2. Simpleology start my day
  3. A check through my calendar to be sure I have everything I need for the day.

That’s it – 3 simple steps.  Of course I can make each step as complex as I choose and spend the amount of time I have or need as I walk through each one BUT these three are my non-negotiables.

Do you have non-negotiables in your day?

May your steps today be guided by acts of kindness for all.

Til again,
