My intention today is to be kind to myself.
Ah sweet Mondays! I’m now in the habit of taking Monday as my day off – my Sabbath. I find that if I can maintain a day with nothing on my calendar then the days that are jam packed seem so much easier to handle.
Do you have a day like this for yourself either weekly or monthly; almost a mini-retreat for yourself?
Here are the 3 things on my self ministry list for today:
- spin – I have some grey that I’m working on to eventually make Nick and pair of socks
- knit – working on another baby blanket
- journal – taking my regular habit of journally and going deeper with today’s question: What is distracting me from what I need to be doing?
